Pretty Pink Posh - See Through Shaker Ornaments

Happy Saturday! I made see-through shaker ornaments to share with you today.  I used Pretty Pink PoshJoy Shaker Die and beautiful Sequins for this fun and easy craft project. I think they'll look awesome on Christmas trees, gift bags/boxes and even on cards. Let's take a look!

To begin, I die-cut glittered gold, glittered silver and red cardstock with the Joy Shaker Die. On the die-cut red cardstock, I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brush Pen, in Clear Overlay to add sparkle.

I cut out six acetate circles to go in the front and the back of the ornaments. I adhered the acetate behind the die-cut cardstocks with the strings as shown and mounted two layers of dimensional foam tapes behind it. After I added the sequins and closed it with a layer of the cut acetate. Then, I glued on the little bows to the front.

You can easily add these ornaments to a card. I adhered A2 sized pattern paper to a top folding white card base.

To make the front panel, I trimmed red cardstock a little smaller than the pattern paper and die-cut it with Joy Shaker Die, I made sure the word JOY was position correctly before die-cutting.  Then I mounted the panel with two layers of foam tape to the pattern paper. Doing this allowed me to place the ornament inside the circle and take it out if I want to (if it doesn't stay down, you can add small strips of double-sided tape to the sides. Since it's on acetate the recipient can remove the tape.

Card with a removable ornament, fun idea, right?!

I hope you enjoyed today's project! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Amy
